Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Creatool (the "Service"), operated by Sebastian Camilo Nupan Cadena ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Creatool Is

Creatool lets you upload video clips, assemble them into short-form videos using templates and automated variation tools, and export the results. Paid plans add higher export limits, storage, and (as those features ship) scheduling and social-account posting.

2. Accounts

You can browse and create projects without an account. Exporting/generating videos and subscribing to a paid plan requires an account, created with an email/password or a Google sign-in. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

  • Free, Pro, and Max plans are described on our Pricing page, including daily export limits and storage limits, which may change with notice.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, as selected) through our payment processors, PayPal and Paddle. We do not store your full card details ourselves.
  • You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period unless you cancel immediately through the processor. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds.
  • We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable advance notice.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the video clips and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transform it solely to provide the Service to you (e.g., rendering your exports). You're responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, and for not uploading unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.

5. Acceptable Use

Don't use Creatool to create or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, or that violates the terms of any third-party platform (including any social platform you connect for posting). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

6. Storage and Data Limits

Each plan includes a storage allowance for uploaded clips, described on the Pricing page and shown in your account settings. Exceeding your plan's limits may prevent further uploads until you free up space or upgrade.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep Creatool available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Features in active development (e.g., social scheduling) may change before general release.

8. Third-Party Services

Creatool relies on third-party providers to operate, including Supabase (accounts and data storage), PayPal and Paddle (payment processing), and, for optional AI-assisted features, Anthropic. Your use of features that connect to third-party platforms (Google, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) is also subject to those platforms' own terms.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently deletes your account and associated projects. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sebastian Camilo Nupan Cadena is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, with venue for any disputes in Bogotá, Colombia.
